You guys know I love a good party. I have often talked about how when I am planning a party, it is all consuming (in a totally great way). I can’t stop getting those creative ideas out of my mind. There are some times however, that I really need to throw a shindig together fast and make it as easy as possible. This was definitely the case with this quick and simple Easter egg hunt party.
Even when in a time crunch, throwing a creative an adorable party can defnitely be done. When I hosted this party for our annual neighborhood egg hunt, I needed to simplify, but I really didn’t want to sacrifice on style. What does a good party planner do? Use what you have!
We have a great gazebo in the commons area of our neighborhood and it is the hub of most of our get togethers. I decided to use one of the the benches to set up a quick snack bar. You might remember the festive tissue tassel garland. I used it as the backdrop and tied it to the posts of the gazebo.
I have always loved this burlap bunny artwork. I am a sucker for a silhouette and I plucked this framed beauty right off of my mantel to use for the party. The perfect centerpiece to anchor my set up. You can learn how to make your own with this silhouette bunny tutorial.
The hit of the party was definitely this carrot patch. Each child got their own bag of carrots filled with goldfish. They loved harvest and gobbled up every bit.
I picked up the other treats at our local grocery store. There were easter egg cookies nestled in paper grass. I dolled up our famous cake stands with crepe paper and topped them with pre-made cupcakes and whoopie pies. This saved a ton of time and the kids enjoyed everything. No need to fuss and fret in the kitchen!
This was such a fun party for our kids. Mom wasn’t stressed about the party details and it was super cute without all the fuss! We set up this sweet snack bar and then had a traditional egg hunt for the kids. The hardest part of the whole thing was trying not to eat all of my girls’ candy!

I love the bright colors with the woodsy backdrop! Easter is one of my favorite holidays, decoration wise, because all of the life and color of spring comes out! I love the tassel banner as a backdrop too! Any kid I know would love to go to that party!
