** Updated with new printable May 2, 2016**
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week!
This is such a fun and quick idea for a gift for all those teachers in your life. And budget friendly too!
Tip Junkie had the most adorable “smartie pants” Valentines and I really wanted to incorporate that idea into the gift for our special teachers. I found this adorable glass jar at our local Dollar Tree, that was just big enough for handful of Smarties! {affiliate links} If want the convenience of ordering online, you can get the same glass jar and smarties online.
Here’s what I did…
I selected a cute blue and white polka-dot scrapbook paper and printed Tip Junkie’s free printable onto the back of the paper. Then I simply cut out the pants and attached them to the glass jar with a bright red, grosgrain ribbon! I created my own little tag with words, and cut them out and taped it to the jar after having my daughter sign them.
**UPDATE You can download the printable with words HERE! **
What a perfect, simple, inexpensive little gift for a teacher! You could use this for teacher appreciation or even your child’s “end of the year” teacher gift!
Inexpensive, adorable, and sweet… you just gotta love dollar store crafts!!

How about this sweet Stitched Notebook Paper Gift Tag for your teacher gift? If you are a sewing fan these are quick and creative. Maybe even a great chance to help teach the art of sewing to your children.
Is your school having a Teacher Brunch? You have to make these yummy and gluten free Breakfast Muffins!
So whether it is a simple “Thank You” , or a gift or even a meal. Take time this week to let your teacher’s know how much you appreciate them and the time they spend each day helping your children.
