This pimiento cheese dip recipe was sponsored by Tide through their partnership with Circle of Moms. While I was compensated to write a post about Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Sport, all opinions are my own.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year… Football Season! Last weekend we shared our top tailgating recipes and this week we are back to share some tips to keep your crew well fed at your next tailgate. We are also going to show you how to keep all of your athletes and sports fans looking (and smelling) their best!
Y’all know that I am all about keeping things simple in the kitchen. This Southern pimiento cheese dip could not get any easier to make.
Ingredients:
2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1 4 oz. jar of diced pimientos, drained
salt and pepper to taste
Are you ready for the really tough instructions? Add all of your ingredients to a bowl and mix it up! Whew… that was a really tough one, right? You can add a little more or less mayonnaise to get it to the consistency that your family likes most. We have been cheering on our Clemson Tigers for years with this pimiento cheese, so I still make it the way my mom did growing up and grating my own cheese. Totally not necessary, but it gets me in the game day mood!
The other thing I love about this dip is that you can bring along any type of crackers, pretzels, or chips and it goes perfectly with them all. You can even make sandwiches or top a good burger with it. The possibilities are endless!
Circle of Moms and Tide have teamed up to help you keep your athletes smelling their freshest and keeping their uniforms and clothes in tip top shape. Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Sport is designed to not only keep your team’s colors looking their best, but to also fight all of the tough stains that athletes struggle with. I know every mom can relate with scrubbing grass stains, dealing with clay-ridden pants, and everything that comes along with keeping a uniform its brightest . This detergent will help you with these and the Febreze will tackle the tough yucky odors! Since I am all about simple and easy… this sounds like a no brainer in the laundry room this Fall and throughout the year!

You can’t beat pimiento cheese. When I want to be really bad I make it with half cream cheese half mayo. Yum. Hope your Tigers take care of UGA.

I love pimiento cheese, but not the proceeded stuff that you can buy at the grocery store. I made this recipe and have had a grilled pimiento cheese sandwich and added it to a hamburger. It was easy to make and amazing!!! Even my 16 year old son who was questioning what a pimiento was loved it. My next use is a replica of a dish I had in Florence, SC with pimiento cheese on salmon over grits….
