Hi everyone! My name is Angela and I’m excited to be a food contributor here at Uncommon Designs. I blog at Handmade in the Heartland, whereI share recipes , craft and DIY home decor projects, parenting tips, lots of dessert recipes and the occasional fashion post. I’d love for you to stop by the blog and see me! Today I bring you an easy weeknight dinner… Hamburger Stew!
As fall arrives do you find yourself wanting easy but comforting and good meals for dinner? I always do and this hamburger stew is one of our favorites. Its kid-friendly but also includes some veggies and everyone is happy when I serve it. I love a hot dinner full of comfort on a chilly fall night and even better if it takes me under 30 minutes to get it on the table! After running from school to activities and events you’ll be happy to serve this up to your family any evening of the week.
This recipe make a lot so its great to freeze half of it for a later time, I love recipes that I can freeze and cook for dinner on a particularly busy day.
I love to be in the kitchen creating fun and delicious things for my family! Check out these other recipes that we love!

This sounds great, but according to your recipe it will take over an hour from start to finish. Have you prepared this in a crockpot?
