Today, I would like to share with you some patriotic, and fun, Fourth of July Front Porch Ideas. Red,white, and blue decor is a classic American tradition. We love to mix in some burlap for a rustic touch, but also stick with the classics. Our family always enjoys welcoming guests, and setting an inviting entrance on our front porch really sets the mood for a great time.
Simple family cookouts, and friends on the slip-n-slide in the backyard is what summers are made of for us. Laid back, casual, and fun! Adding a few seasonal decorations always make the evening a bit more special.
So how do we do it? Let me show you some of our favorite projects to help you set the stage for a fabulous Fourth of July with your friends and family…
Sometimes, all you need is a wreath on the door. Yep! And this Red Burlap Ruffled Wreath is a classic, and one that can be used all summer long. You could even put it out for Valentine’s Day and Christmas as well. I love the contrast of the red burlap and the grapevine wreath…
It is really much easier to create than it looks. Click on over here to get the full instructions on crafting one of your own.
Looking to add a little comfy element to the chairs on your front porch? These Ticking Stripe Porch Pillows are just the right touch to make your guests want to sit a spell, and have a glass of ice cold sweet tea…
Now, I know….you need some basic sewing skills to create these, but you can do it! Click on over here to see more about the pillows and a link to walking you through sewing your own.
Need a centerpiece for a table on your porch? I combined these DIY Apothecary Jars and some fun metal letters to create a simple Fourth of July Apothecary Jar Centerpiece…
I love these! I have changed them out for each season in my home. I know that the supplies are really difficult to find now { it has been almost 4 years since I made them } but you could totally create your own version with a different look. The sand, and little starfish just remind me of summer on the coast of South Carolina. Great memories! Click on over here to check out all of our different versions of DIY Apothecary Jars.
Hosting a Fourth of July party that will go into the evening ours? Then these Mason Jar Porch Lanterns would be an awesome choice…
The simplicity of these mason jars is what makes them so great! They look absolutely amazing when it starts to get dark and the candles inside glow, causing the flag to be illuminated…lovely! What a great way to extend the party and party decor. Click here to see how I created these fantastic American Flag Mason Jar Lanterns, that I use every year.
Finally, this has got to be one of my absolute favorite 4th of July decorations to date. I made these Fourth of July Burlap Flag Banners a few years ago, and still adore how they turned out…
You could put these on a front porch across the railings, or even on your mantel inside. They are so quick and easy, with minimal supplies. Click here to learn how to make your own in time for the 4th of July.
Just one seasonal item on your porch can make your home a little more festive and inviting. Kids love to see decorations out for more than just Christmas, or at least mine do. Get them involved as well! We recently shared How to Host a 4th of July Party and also, you are going to want to check out our Backyard Games for the Family.
Decorating your front porch for the 4th of July can be a fun way to really get in the spirit of the holiday, and welcome all your friends and family! I hope tat I have inspired and equipped you to tackle a few seasonal decorations.
Enjoy!

I love these ideas! So cute and fresh. I need some help with my front porch, and I think I’ve found some answers. I’m glad I found your post through the Monday Funday link party.
