Ah yes, another school year is quickly coming to an end. Have you thought about a teacher gift yet? You don’t have to be super crafty or spend a lot of money to give them something both adorable and useful. These Teacher Appreciation Gift Printables are the perfect accent to a diy or store bought tote bag. They are “tote-lly” terrific!
These fun printables were created for us by Delightfully Noted. Aren’t they the perfect accent for that teacher gift this year? Love the play on words. Don’t worry, we have a link to the printable gift tags at the end of the post.
The little apple is just the right touch! Since your teacher is “tote-lly” terrific, add one of these gift tags to a fun tote for the teacher.
Now let’s create a one of a kind tote bag to tie them to!
Now what teacher would not love receiving one of these to carry all those books and papers in? This burlap bag with fun polka dots came from Hobby Lobby and the monogram letter was painted on with a stencil. But you could also use a plain jute bag {affiliate link} and add the polka dots yourself with a round paint pouncer {affiliate link}.
You can even fill the bag with some of your teacher’s favorite things…books, stationary, restaurant gift card, candy, coffee, tea…this list goes on! This would make a perfect classroom gift idea and let the students each select an inexpensive item to place inside the tote.
Steps for Creating a Teacher Tote Bag:
- Print and download tags on white cardstock.
- Then just simply cut the tags out and hole punch the corner.
- Add some ribbon and tie to tote of your choice, choose a fun ribbon color to match the tags.
- If you plan on painting the bag, be sure to use the correct type of craft paint for fabrics. You can use a Fabric Medium {affiliate link} with acrylic paints.
We even created a bold, Color Block Tote with Chalky Finish Paint {affiliate link} that you could use this fabulous gift tag with too…
Need some gift wrap and a card for your teacher gift? These Printable Mini Cards and Wrapping Paper are the best!
They coordinate perfectly with the gift tags. The apple design is absolutely adorable, right?
So who’s ready for the end of the school year? I know my kids are!
