Our free printable nativity banner is waiting for you!
We are so glad that you are here today as part of this wonderful blog hop hosted by Hometalk and Country Living.Com! It is the most wonderful time of the year and there is so much to do, so much to enjoy. It is easy to overlook the real meaning of Christmas. Things are busy, there are presents to buy and wrap, school events to attend… umpteen family gatherings. These are all amazing things that we are so lucky to have, but sometimes we forget why we have this holiday at all.
Don’t get me wrong, we love our Elf on the Shelf, we love holiday baking and we love giving and receiving gifts. We give our children all that we can and sometimes more. But we do talk about and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. That is the reason for all of the lights and festivities.
When Bonnie and I first started out, we made and sold holiday decor. Our first Christmas season, we made the sweetest paper nativity banners. They were made with fine linen paper and painted with metallic gold. Just beautiful… too beautiful not to share with you all. And since you know we love a good silhouette, that was just what we made… a Nativity Silhouette Banner.

I just adore how it looks in my dining room. Here is a peek at my dining table centerpiece. Lovely burlap trees, lights and glass jars. A small nativity and my favorite cypress greens.
I love having this tangible reminder of the real meaning of Christmas. I love that it is front and center in our home. I pray for my children to know the true joy that comes from believing in a God that gives such precious gifts. The greatest gift ever.
