And Party Everyday! My children are in love with music! My son started taking drums lessons a few months ago…he’s hooked!
So here is the second part of the gift I made for his teacher!
Earlier this week I posted part one…Appliqued Drum Set Onesie!
See….I just could not leave out his precious son who became a big brother!
The sweet gals over at Six Sister’s Stuff have a great tutorial on creating t-shirts like this!
Supplies Needed for DIY Bleached T-shirt…
100% cotton t-shirt
drum set silhouette pattern {or design of choice}
bleach mixture in spray bottle {70% Bleach 30% Water}
I simply cut out the silhouette from the freezer paper and iron it on the t-shirt following the tutorial on Six Sister’s Stuff. Next, the fun begins! After placing a piece of cardboard inside the t-shirt {to keep the bleach from bleeding through!}, you simply begin spraying the t-shirt with the bleach mixture you created earlier.
This is how my shirt looked after spraying and allowing the bleach to sit for about 20 minutes! I simpy peeled the freezer paper off after the 20 minutes. I then followed the tutorial from Six Sister’s Stuff on how to rinse and wash the shirt!
I just love the way it turned out and his little guy looks adorable in it! I made my own son a black one and now have a list of friends who want one too! Of course, my daughter has to have a guitar version! There are so many possibilities!
What would you make a bleach t-shirt of ?

Brilliant! I just made a bunch of superhero shorts for my son. He needs matching tee-shirts. Now I can download superheros to match the shorts and spray them. Was wondering what to do to make a match. Thanks so much for sharing and for the inspiration!!
