So have you been following along on this little Zipper Pathway project I have started at my house?

Well in the first post, I showed you how I planned my outdoor project with the help of the fabulous Home Depot Garden Club…
OK, little La La thought the Home Depot guy was the cutest!
What a great set up this was with all sorts of useful information about the Home Depot Garden Club. It was bright and colorful and really was able to draw you in…perfect!
I was all ready to shop for our supplies..I had visited the Garden Club site, and with a click on the Zipper Pathway project page…I printed out my entire list of all the supplies I would need down to the prices! How easy and useful is that!
We met some very friendly faces along the way, including our lighting guy, Lee…
We decided on a different set of lights that the sample in the project and he was able to tell us if they were in stock and where to find them. He even walked around with us to make sure we got them. With his handheld scanner he also let us know exactly where all of our other supplies could be found and offered to go with us to round them up.
Now that is called… Customer Service! Impressive!
The choices of lighting were amazing and with our Home Depot associate’s help, I think we made a great choice!
Once we hit the Garden Center…we were all set!
The hubs set off to get the heavy stuff like the paver stones, paver base, and leveling sand.
Trish and I headed to the pretty section..flowers!
I had already done a little research on the Garden Club site to help me make the best choice for the type of ground cover I would need to go between the pavers.
We are in the deep south, summers are brutal, and the area this is going… gets full afternoon sunshine!
So, with all that in mind….our choice was Dwarf Mondo Grass! The sweet sales associate in gardening agreed with us as well. She was so helpful in helping us locate the grass, and even let us know when the next shipment would be in if we needed more.
This was such a great shopping experience! We were able to get all of our supplies and all the help we needed in one place…
My husband became the photographer for this one! We will have him blogging in no time! I thought that this process of selecting and buying all the supplies might be a little overwhelming but in fact it was easy peasy!
We loaded up the car with all of our fabulous supplies for our Zipper Pathway project and headed home to get started. La La wanted to make sure we did not forget her!
So how did we do creating our pathway? Follow along so that you don’t miss out on the process and final reveal. Until then here is a tiny sneak peek…

I was just in the Home Depot garden center the other day. I brought home lots of flowers that I’ve been planting this week. I saw the signs for the Garden Club and wondered what it was. I’ll have to look into it.
