Save. Snack. Score.
Cheer season is once again upon our family. It is a lot of fun and a lot of work for my oldest daughter, Ann. It is her passion and she is so happy when she is active and doing what she loves most in this world.
Today I want to share all about how we get through this busy season as organized as we possibly can and keeping this gal fed and well hydrated can make or break our day. We have to be prepared! I want to share my plan for creating a mobile snack station with a few of my favorite products.
Save.
Head to your local Wal-Mart and be on the lookout for NABISCO coupons. Right now they are in two places:
- On a coupon neck hanger on POWERADE® (8pk 20oz): Save $1.50 on NABISCO 20-pack Multipack
- A coupon sticker on boxes of Nabisco snack packs : Savings of .75 when you purchase a 12-pack or larger NABISCO Multipack
That is nothing to sneeze at when you kids have sports practice almost everyday!
The other thing I need is a great sports drink. We love POWERADE® and you can currently find this display in your local store. I love how inexpensive these are and they come in a ton of flavors.
Snack.
The essentials to the perfect snack station include a small cooler (mine has wheels and I love it), a lunch box or sack, and ice packs. What are we missing… snacks! I like to include fresh fruit, cheese and something crunchy and filling to snack on.
For me, the NABISCO multi-packs are really convenient and Ann loves all of the flavors! She needs lots of fuel to get her through some very intense practices.
It can be super hot during practices and games here in South Carolina. Their bodies are challenged to stay hydrated.
POWERADE® is a great beverage choice for athletes and we love the Zero Calorie Mixed Berry Flavor. It is definitely stocked in my cooler and I keep it in the car between practices and games.
Here is a picture of my mobile snack station packed perfectly. It makes me feel good to know that we are ready and fueled for anything.
Score.
I think my favorite aspect of cheer are the friends that Ann has made along the way. We often carpool or ride together as families to games or competitions and that snack station is perfect. I always have enough food and drink for all of the girls in the car with me! That is a total score in my book!

Food and snacks are definitely sideline musts! I always try to keep my car packed full of everything we might need–including extra things for me and them to do while we wait and first aid stuff, just in case!
