I had planned another post for today….
The events of yesterday in Oklahoma changed that… and broke my heart.
I don’t know why, I have no answers…
All I can do is pray…

Life is not easy, things happen that can destroy your spirit and make you question it all.
When those times come and daily….I pray….
I don’t understand always…but I pray…
As a mother, when these things happen, I hold my children tight and try to answer their questions.
But ultimately…we pray…
We ask for comfort to be provided for those who lost loved ones, for endurance and strength be provided for the first responders, and peace for the community.
For my family, music is a kind of therapy…soothes the soul.
My daughter and I are particularly fond of JJ Heller. This song is a go to for those days you just do not understand…

I couldn’t agree more, Bonnie! Pray is powerful, and when I have no where to go but to my knees in prayer, that’s when I see God move most powerfully in my life and in the lives of others. Also, “Your Hands” is one of my favorite worship songs right now…thank you for sharing it here. It is so very apt.
