Today I want to go back in time to share some pictures of Uncommon’s very first event! We held a Halloween “Boo” tique sale two years ago and it marked the beginning of our incredible journey selling handmade goods and the launch of our blog. It was an evening full of good food, good friends, and good shopping! The perfect trio!
In the kitchen, we set a fabulous table that was both whimsical and colorful. The table was long, so we used three orange gingham tablerunners that were adorned with a satin ruffle and arranged the serving and display pieces on top.
The centerpiece of the table was stacked spider cupcakes, spider votives and candy corn trees. Just darling!
Our guests were sent home with yummy caramel apples that had bat and moon tags attached with our blog address written on the moon. We placed them on a platter with candy corns and they were a hit! Isn’t everything so much cuter when placed with candy corn?
It has only been two years, but it seems like so much longer since we began our blog. Bonnie and I both have learned so much about technology (you ladies over 30 like me know how tough this is, wink!), letting go of perfectionism, and not being afraid to put ourselves out there. We thank God everyday for placing so many creative and faithful ladies in our lives, like you!
