This Mother’s Day has already been so special for me… my Mom and I got to go on a Mother Daughter fashion date at the World Market. I can’t wait to share all about my Mom and the fun details of our date with you!
My mom and I have always had such a close bond. I don’t know if it is because I was the youngest of three, but we have always done so much together. Most of you know, but two year’s ago we lost my Dad very unexpectedly. Our lives changed so dramatically in just an instant, but for my Mom it has been especially difficult. She had to completely build her life without my Dad, not to mention she lost both parents in the last four years, as well. She is taking it day by day and is finding strength that she never knew she had… I am so proud of her! The picture above is of she and I when I was about my little La La’s age. It is one of my most treasured posessions.
Here we are just last week at our Fashion date at the ever-fabulous… World Market. Looks like we swapped hair color and I still have chubby cheeks ( not so cute on a 36 year-old)! Shopping is my Mom’s favorite thing to do, so what a perfect date for us!

The first spot that we gravitated to was the jewelry department. Love it! You can get the cutest jewelry for next to nothing. That makes this girl very happy. How fabulous are the colors of those necklaces? I love them and they match our blog perfectly! Great minds think alike!!
Mom picked out this sweet gauzy scarf in orange, pink and white. Remember when I told you that my Mom loved shopping? If you look close, you will see that her little suit has a lady shopping and shopping bags on it… so fits her!!
I love what she ended up deciding on… this adorable Summery skirt and orange bubble necklace. What perfect Mother’s day gifts!
They even have the cutest Mother’s Day cards!!
I just love everything that she ended up purchasing! The fact that she can wear the necklace with the skirt and the scarf is just the icing on the top of the cake!!
Here she is in her cutie-pie beach hat! We really had so much fun together at World Market. I am so thankful for my Mom and everything that she does for our family. Do you have a special Mom, too? You are going to love this…
