I don’t know about you guys, but before I began blogging, my love of crafting and sprucing up my home came from television. Some of my favorite shows were Design on a Dime and Trading Spaces and now I have a new favorite… Home Made Simple on the OWN Network! This show totally took me back to those days and here is another from throwback…
If you are a child of the 80’s, you probably knew that this is Soleil Moon Frye aka Punky Brewster! She is the host of this great series and not afraid to roll up her sleeves and put in some work, too. Tune in Saturdays at 9am/8c on OWN and join Soleil and the team as they help some lucky homeowners.
The premise of the show is for the creative and DIY dream team to help a family makeover a space in their home. The episode I watched last Saturday was Daddy School of Design. It was about a sweet family whose dad was all about helping his children get the best education possible. The team helped make over a catch all garage into a fun sporty room with loads of DIY tips and tricks.
One of my favorite projects from this episode was a fun chalkboard globe. You can get all of the details on how to create one of these from the designer, Jennifer Farrell here.
You can also get lots of details about the show on their website http://www.HomeMadeSimpleTV.com.
Home Made Simple is my new Saturday morning routine and design destination! Be sure to tune in on Saturday mornings at 9am/8c, only on OWN.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Home Made Simple TV. The opinions and text are all mine.
