DIY Monogrammed Burlap Canvas

Trish and I are thrilled to let you in on a fabulous event happening this coming weekend that we are participating in at our local Columbia, SC Michaels store on Two Notch Road….

At all Michaels stores nationwide, they are hosting a Pinterest Party. Visit the Michaels website to find a store near you. If you are local, come on out, we would love to meet you! Live in SC but not close to our store, you can stop by any of the stores in SC to join the party.

Buy supplies in the store and join the party for a great afternoon of crafting!  Bloggers will be joining the parties at select locations nationwide.

DIY Monogrammed Burlap Canvas

How sweet is this! A perfect accent for your home or even a gallery wall. We will also have another version of this project at the event.

This DIY Monogrammed Burlap Canvas is so simple to create. All you need are a few supplies and some paint!

I even did a little distressing on the edges of the frame and letter once they were painted. A quick and easy way to add a little interest to the craft project.

I just love chalkboards and this sweet chalkboard paint bunting I made was perfect for this diy project. Ready made tags and some chalkboard paint and I was done. The black and white baker’s twine adds a bit of whimsy too!

Attach a few mini clothespins and you have a great way to personalize your piece of artwork. Mine has the year we were married,,,yep 20 years! I painted the back of the bunting with chalkboard paint too, so it is reversible.

Trish and I will be sharing some fun ideas for incorporating the chalkboard trend into your home and parties. We have some cute and fast ideas for you. We will also have a craft project sure to get you in the mood for spring! Come on out and join us!
