Hi everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the holidays so far! I just got back from a trip to New York City {or the Giant Apple as my little La La calls it} and finally have some time to finish decorating my house. Today I am so excited to share my global-inspired Christmas display with you!
This was a particularly fun project for me, because we had a chance to work with the ever-fabulous World Market! One of my absolute favorite stores!
This holiday season, World Market is celebrating the release of the movie, Life of Pi. Life of Pi is the story of an Indian boy named Pi, a zookeeper’s son, who survives a disaster at sea and is thrown into an epic journey. While adrift in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with a fearsome Bengal tiger. It is in theaters now and I can’t wait to see it!
Who would be better to promote the movie than World Market and all of their global-inspired products. They even have special, Life of Pi, themed items such as the adorable camel you see in our Christmas display.

Is he not the most adorable thing ever? I love this rocking camel because it reminds me of what I treasure most about the holidays. I immediately thought about the significance of camels in the nativity and how they brought the wise men to see the baby, Jesus. On the less serious side, the fact that it is a rocking camel is perfect, because it signifies the fun and whimsy of the holidays and beyond. My girls think he is crazy cute, too! I love how he is nestled in the snow with some holiday pretties surrounding him, too.
