Hi guys! It’s Kristy from The Life and Times. Today, I’m excited to share with you a sweet pumpkin painting party I put together right in my very own backyard!
A few weeks ago, we celebrated my oldest son’s 4th birthday with a Peter Pan party. My favorite element from his party was this table made from pallets and surrounded by tree stumps.
I wanted to get one more use out of the table, so that is how the idea for a Pumpkin Painting Party came to be!
Using the same table, I simply covered it in kraft paper and surrounded it with hay bales for seating. {The kraft paper allows for super easy clean up when the party is over!}
Our sweet friends were asked to B.Y.O.P (Bring your own pumpkin) and I supplied paint, glue, ribbon, sequins, and a bunch of other craft supplies! Look in your stash of craft supplies and put out whatever you can find!
The kids were then given free reign to make their own pumpkin masterpieces!
Since this was an afternoon party, I wanted to provide some light snacks for the kids to enjoy when they were finished with their pumpkins. I set up a table in the backyard with orange, white, and black sewn crepe paper streamers as a backdrop.
I created a “Monster Mix Bar” (trail mix) using free printables I found over at A Girl and A Glue Gun.
The guests had fun creating their own mix to eat!
Mini pumpkin shaped cakes, orange chocolate dipped pretzels, and orange colored juice were also served.
We had a wonderful afternoon getting in the Halloween spirit!

Have a fabulous day!
