I can’t tell you how excited I was to see October come so I could go public with my Halloween goodies in real life! The first thing on my to-do list was…
Boo! Treats
I love to hit the stores with an excuse to buy sweets and little trinkets, so Boo Treats for my neighbors are always fun to buy. If you aren’t familiar with this tradition, you can check out our post, How to Boo! Your Neighbor. This year I stumbled across these little beauties in the Target dollar spot for $2.50. I thought they were a steal for large glittered buckets! I made a ghost bucket and a spider bucket for two different families with lots of little goodies!
The first family got this sweet little ghost bucket. We made some traditional ghosts with kleenex, festive ribbon and tootsie pops. We stuck bamboo skewers underneath the ghosts to add some height and stuffed the bucket with candy, trinkets, and a spooky sippy for the baby! They had never been boo’d before, so we hope the little rascals enjoyed it!
I decided to add a Boo Mini-Bunting from our shop to the mix. Pretty fitting, eh?
For the other sweet family, we made a spider-themed bucket! This one had a orange glitzy spider from the dollar spot attached to give off even more spook { is that even a word? }. The goodies were slightly more manly with Halloween Big League Chew and some fun games. A little tulle, that is not exactly manly, set everything off just perfectly!
The last thing that every good Boo! treat bucket has is the token Boo! Ghost and poem…
We designed this adorable Boo! Your Neighbor Free Printable last year and I still love that little ghostie! You can click the image below to go to the free printable!
Hope you guys are all doing well! Have a wonderful week!

I never knew about being “Booed” until moving to the Mid-West. It’s such a great thing for the kids, I just love it!

Having trouble making the poem a decent size. Right now it is about 3X4? Any suggesions?
So cute and it looks fun and easy to do too. Love it! I’m sure your neighbors appreciated the surprise!
