Today was the end of the school year party for little La La and I wanted to do something extra special for my favorite four-year olds. I knew what the theme would be… a Have a Ball this Summer Party!
They love playing with all types of balls, so when I saw the printable at Dixie Delights, I knew it would be perfect! I tied it to simple plastic beach balls.
The table was set with loads of bright colors and I incorporated a fun Summer-stripe with the tablerunner.
Can you guess what it is made out of?
Yep… that is a plastic tablecloth! When strolling through Wal-Mart the other morning, I found these adorable striped birthday tablecloths and napkins and they were the exact colors that are on beach balls! I got a blue one to represent water and sewed the two together!
A pretty nice tablerunner for $2 and it is preschooler-proof! You can see the tutorial on how to make the tablerunner in our ruffled plastic tablerunner post!
The kids loved the blue metallic tinsel. That was not so much preschooler-proof!
For the sweet treat we had cupcakes with beach ball toppers! All I did here was print a few beach balls off and sandwich a toothpick between two of the balls and glued. Super easy!
A sweet friend of mine had monogrammed some of these colorful water bottles { also from $1 at Wal-Mart } for her little ones at Easter. I thought they were perfect for pint sized hands and just super adorable!
The kids love our Beach Ball Themed Summer Party!
