Hey Ya’ll! We are Trish and Bonnie, and we are the girls behind Uncommon Designs.We are sisters-in-law, southern girls, and moms to 2 incredible children each. We love sewing, decorating for holidays, planning and decorating for parties, home decor, and anything having to do with crafts. We are both committed to finding our identity in Christ and to use all of His creation to make our lives more rich and beautiful.
Uncommon Designs is a blog dedicated to creating the extraordinary out of seemingly ordinary, everyday things.We began our blogging journey in 2010 as creative outlet for our business. Trish has been married to her husband for 15 years. She is mom to two girls. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management. Trish worked in the insurance industry before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her two girls. She has a love for party planning, creating holiday projects, and sewing for her children and her home.
Bonnie has been married to her college sweetheart { Trish’s brother } for 21 years. She is mom to a daughter and son. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. After spending 8 years working full-time as a Coronary Care Unit nurse, she became a full-time stay-at-home mom. Crafting and sewing have been a part of her life since childhood and her love for creating handmade projects continues to be a part of her daily life.
